Students from the University of Washinton have shed light on the possible risk factors concerning today’s computerized cars. The students compiled a report on their findings and in short the students demonstrated numerous experiments which represent how a modern car is incredibly fragile to electronic security hacks and reconfigurations.  The students simulated many possible situations in which the automotive functions completely ignored the driver’s inputs and actions. Some of these situations include the disabling of brakes systems, steering and engine functionality. These findings may possess answers for the massive recall of Toyota automobiles earlier this year.
